Finally got around to reading your post! I agree—people often criticize things just because they’re different. I think it comes from our tribal mindset—if another group is doing something differently, we instinctively see it as wrong.

Yes, we all strive for tolerance. In my experience, people from different cultures are often curious and eager to understand one another. However, there is often an initial tendency to judge—perhaps rooted in evolution—that shapes our first impressions.
